Aims & objects of 'ASTITVA'
are quite precise, thus:
To provide, establish, manage &
conduct medical, vocational & other training programms to
cater to the needs of the physically handicapped, the deaf,
the blind, the mentally retarded & the orphans in the order
that they can be o their own financially and / or otherwise.
To facilitate & spread awareness
amongest the members of the communityabout their duty towards
the physically handicapped, the deaf, the blind, the mentally
retarded & the orphans as also the aged.
To associate with or, if necessory,
to create the organisations on state & national levels in
order to help the physically handicapped, the deaf, the blind,
the mentally retarded & the orphans as also the aged.
To associate as a member of the international
institutions or organisations dedicated to the noble cause of
guidance & services to the physically handicapped, the deaf,
the blind, the mentally retarded & the orphans as also the
aged.
To build, maintain & conduct
anywhere in Maharashtra, Institutions, Schools, Colleges, Hostels,
Asylums, Research Centres, Industrial units & other vocation
oriented organisations / centres & equip such institutions
etc., with modern instruments, aparatus, appliances, implementsetc.,
with view to creating confidence among the physically handicapped,
the deaf, the blind, the mentally retarded & the orphans
in their own capacities to enable them to seek self-employment
opportunities or other facilities for earning.
To do all such acts, deeds or things
as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of any of
the above objects.
